Another Life.
For my second year of studying Animation (2021), one of my subjects for my co-major in Video Games and Interactivity involved writing and building our own interactive narrative game. The original text-only game amounted 140 plays in the first few weeks of being posted online.
Following this I then worked with a programmer and sound designer for Game Jam, where we recreated the game with the art made by myself. We made the game within 48 hours using my original script and artwork which was translated into an interactive visual game. I loved working in this format, and hope to flesh out the original game in the future.
"This post-apocalyptic world has run you dry. You're on the brink of existence, forced to fight for your life every waking moment given to you. Another Life follows you through a journey to find medical supplies before it's too late. With no one by your side but an unknown voice following you, every choice you make matters.
Will you make the right choices?"
Dude... Where's my vape?

For my studies in 2023 I decided to further explore game design, and part of my studies has included developing games in very short time frames. One of these games includes Dude... Where's my vape?
As creative director I conceptualised the game and contributed animation and character art, I loved working on this as it allowed us as a team to have fun with a silly concept.
Offbeat
We were required to create a game that plays around with how we expect mechanics to work within a game. For Offbeat we decided to reverse the mechanics of keyboard-based rhythm games, instead of pressing the keys to hit the beats the player is required to release the arrows. I wanted to make sure that the "music video" to accompany the game was as fun and crazy as possible. With two other animators, I compiled our footage and edited/composited a music video for the game.
